Every luxury furniture piece is custom designed and custom made in Australia by Mark Alexander, bringing design and manufacturing together under one creative vision. From the first pencil sketch through to the finished piece, Mark Alexander has the rare ability to both design and manufacture his own work, without relying on third parties to interpret his vision.
Not defined by one particular style, Mark Alexander can design and manufacture across classic, contemporary and modern interiors, adapting each piece to the architecture, project and individual client. From a single custom made statement furniture piece to complete residential and commercial interiors, dimensions, materials, colours and finishes can all be tailored to suit.
Australian designed. Australian made. Designed and manufactured by Mark Alexander.
Our parquetry dining tables, sideboards and bookcases are available in modern, contemporary and traditional expressions, with each piece custom made to its setting. A selection of premium timbers including American Ash, European Oak, Walnut, Australian Oak, Tasmanian Oak, American Oak, Mahogany and Blackbutt Australian Native allows the natural grain, tone and texture of the material to become an integral part of the design.
TIMBER CARE
Every piece of timber is unique, with a natural character that continues to respond to its surroundings. As the piece lives within the interior, its timber will naturally evolve, adding to the story of the design over time. A little considered care will help preserve its beauty. Protect the surface from heat and moisture, attend to spills promptly, and avoid direct sunlight and sudden changes in temperature or humidity. With regular dusting and suitable furniture care products, its natural character can be preserved for years to come.
