Custom Made Mid Century Ottoman
The custom made Mid Century ottoman is designed to complement the home theatre lounge sofa, echoing its sculptural form and modern style. Handcrafted for comfort and visual harmony, it is made by luxury interior designer and furniture manufacturer Mark Alexander.
Each ottoman is custom designed and entirely made in Australia to a premium standard of quality and finish. Dimensions, colour, and finish of our luxury furniture can all be custom made to your specific requirements, with a wide range of luxurious fabrics or leathers and frame colour options available.
Dimensions as shown: 950mm x 950mm x 450mmH
The making of an upholstered piece begins long before the fabric is selected. It starts with an idea, an understanding of how the furniture should look, feel and live within its surroundings. From the first sketch, Mark Alexander develops the proportions, silhouette and details of the piece before bringing the design into his own manufacturing process. Every stage remains connected to the original vision, from the construction of the frame through to the final upholstery.
It is through this final stage that the furniture finds its expression. A carefully selected European fabric can transform the way a piece is perceived, introducing colour, texture, softness and depth to the form beneath it. Subtle or expressive, each fabric is chosen to work with the design rather than simply cover it, completing the journey from concept to a finished piece of furniture.
FABRIC CARE
A little considered care helps preserve the beauty of the upholstery through everyday living. For spills, gently blot the area with water and a clean microfibre cloth, using a small amount of mild soap where needed. Remove any remaining residue and allow the fabric to air dry naturally.
